Overview

Practice by SuperML.org ("Practice," "we," "us") is a free certification practice-question site. There are no accounts and no login — this policy explains the little data the site does collect, why, and how you can limit or clear it.

No accounts, no login

When you first visit, your browser generates a random id (not tied to your name, email, or any other identity) and stores it in your browser's local storage. This id is how the site remembers your quiz progress between visits — nothing more.

What we collect

  • Anonymous id — a random identifier stored in your browser, used to associate your quiz attempts with you across visits.
  • Quiz attempts — your score, which questions you answered, your answers, and timestamps, stored against your anonymous id.
  • Local-only data — your optional nickname, your per-attempt "Knowledge gaps" history, and any questions you bookmark with "Save this question" are all kept entirely in your browser's local storage. None of this is ever sent to us.
  • Optional free-text feedback — if you use "Report this question" or "Missing a topic?", the message you type is stored against your anonymous id. Please don't include personal information in these — we don't need it and don't ask for it.
  • Certificate requests — if you use "Request a certificate," we store the vendor and certificate name you enter and, only if you choose to provide one, an email address so we can let you know if it gets added. This is the only place on the site that asks for an email, and it's entirely optional.

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we do not run any third-party analytics or ad trackers on this site.

How we use this data

To show you your own progress, to identify and fix low-quality or inaccurate questions, and to understand which content needs more coverage. We do not sell data, and we do not share it beyond the infrastructure providers below.

Third-party services

  • Supabase — stores quiz attempts, reports, and content requests described above.
  • Netlify — hosts this site.
  • Anthropic's Claude API — used to generate and fact-check practice questions ahead of time; it does not process your visitor data.

Links to official certification pages and documentation take you to third-party sites outside our control. Their own privacy practices apply once you leave.

Data retention and your choices

Since there are no accounts, we have no way to identify which anonymous id belongs to you beyond what's stored in your own browser. Clearing your browser's local storage (or using a different browser/device) disconnects you from any prior history — a fresh anonymous id will be generated on your next visit. If you'd like data tied to a specific anonymous id deleted, contact us with the id and we'll do our best to locate and remove it.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do.
